Juan José Miranda Bront is Associate Professor with tenure at the School of Business of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) and Independent Researcher at CONICET. He is also Director of the Master in Management, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at the UTDT School of Business since 2022.

Juan José graduated with a degree in Computer Science (Universidad de Buenos Aires) in 2007, and obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2012.
His research lies in the area of Operations Research, more specifically in the study of complex planning problems, network design, and resource management in logistics and transportation. His work combines mathematical modeling with the design of exact and heuristic algorithms, resulting in new computational tools that improve planning and decision-making processes.

His research projects include vehicle routing problems under congestioneffects in large cities, electric vehicle routing, logistics network design in supply chains, and scheduling under resource constraints. His work has been published in leading international scientific journals such as Operations Research, INFORMS Journal on Computing, European Journal of Operational Research, and Computers and Operations Research, among others.

Juan José has served as an expert consultant in optimization applied to logistics and supply chain management across several industry projects, including collaborations with organizations such as Gire S.A., Belgrano Cargas y Logística, and Accenture Applied Intelligence Argentina, among others.
