Magdalena Cornejo is a full-time professor at the Business School of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) and a researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET). She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and a Master´s degree in Econometrics from UTDT.
Her work has been published in academic journals such as Econometrics, International Journal of Forecasting, Agricultural Economics, Empirical Economics, among others. She is currently teaching Statistics and Econometrics in both undergraduate and graduate programs at UTDT.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of forecasting, time series econometrics, and the economic impacts of climate change. More recently, she has focused on the interplay between natural resources and climate change, studying how extreme weather and climate shocks affect agricultural and energy markets, prices, and production outcomes.
