Free movers
Free mover students are those who wish to carry out an exchange program at UTDT on their own initiative, either beacuse their home university did not nominate nominate them or because it does not have a partnership agreement with our institution.
To be admitted, they must meet the requirements detailed below and complete the application process. Additionally, they must pay the corresponding academic fees for the courses they take, as well as an international student fee.

Admissions requirements:
- Be a regular student at a university and have completed at least one year of studies at the time of application.
- Be at least 18 years old at the start of the program at UTDT.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- For MBA courses: Be at least 26 years old and have a minimum of 3 years of work experience.

Undergraduate programs:
- First semester (March to July): November 1
- Second semester (August to December): April 15
Graduate programs:
- First and second trimesters / Modules 1 and 2: November 1
- Third trimester / Modules 3, 4, and 5: April 15
Steps:
- Complete and submit the application form along with the following documents:
- Official transcript in English or Spanish, including the most recent semester's grades and an explanation of the grading system.
- Copy of the passport identification page (to be used for entry into Argentina).
- Motivation letter or short essay (maximum 1.5 pages, font size 12, single-spaced).
- A color photo in .jpg format for the UTDT student ID card.
- Architecture and Design students: Portfolio (5–20 pages, PDF format, <10MB) and participation in a virtual admission interview.
- Proof of language proficiency in the language in which courses will be taken at UTDT (only if it is neither the student's native language nor the language of instruction at their home university). The following certificates are accepted:
ENGLISH:
- Cambridge: FCE/CAE/CPE ≥ C
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in each section)
- TOEFL iBT: ≥ 85 (minimum Reading 18, Listening 18, Speaking 20, Writing 21)
- TOEIC: 800+ (Listening and Reading) and 320+ (Writing and Speaking)
- International Baccalaureate: English A: Language and Literature / English A: Literature / English B ≥ 5
- Letter from home university confirming a minimum B2 level of English
- Transcript showing completion of at least four semesters of university-level English courses
SPANISH:
- Letter from home university confirming a minimum B2 level of Spanish
- Transcript showing completion of at least four semesters of university-level Spanish courses
- Other recognized Spanish certificates at a B2 level (DELE, CELU, IB, etc.)
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Applicants who complete the process correctly will receive a confirmation email. Admission decisions will be communicated by email approximately four weeks after the application deadline.
Enrollment:
Course registration is conducted online approximately two weeks before the beginning of each semester.
Fees:
Free mover students must pay the tuition fee for each course they take (please inquire at international@utdt.edu) and a non-refundable international student fee of USD 50 to cover orientation, prints, and social, cultural, and sports activities.
Orientation Program (Mandatory):
The orientation program is designed to provide information about academic programs, university resources, and social life at UTDT.
It also includes an optional city tour.
