Elisa Belfiori is a Macroeconomist with interest in Climate Economics and Public Finance. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on the optimal design of climate policies and sits at the intersection of Macroeconomics and Climate Change with applications from Public Finance. 

Currently, Elisa serves as the Director of the Bachelor´s Degrees in Business Administration and Business Economics, and is a full-time professor at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT). Previously, she held a tenure-track position at Colorado State University in the United States. 

She has also worked as a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and at the Central Bank of Argentina.
