The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Program offers scholarships to students for studying in Hungary for a semester or for a year. With the support of the scholarship you can spend a semester or a full year at the 650-year old University of Pécs in Hungary.

The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship program was recently established by the Hungarian Government for those who live in a Hungarian diaspora outside of Europe and wish to study at a Hungarian higher education institution to develop their personal, professional, and cultural relations to Hungary.

The University of Pécs, the oldest and one of the most prestigious universities in Hungary, offers a large number of study areas for semester and year-long studies for the scholarship holders.

Areas of study: Business and Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Education, Music, and Visual Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences

The scholarship will provide: Tuition fee waiver, medical insurance, monthly stipend (upon request), contribution to accommodation costs (upon request)

The study programs are available both in English and Hungarian.

The Program is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, managed by Tempus Public Foundation.
