Investigación
Las actividades del LICIP
incluyen el desarrollo de proyectos de investigación llevados a cabo por
nuestro equipo de investigadores y una red de co-autores y colaboradores. El objetivo de estos trabajos es estudiar los determinantes causales de la
actividad criminal y evaluar la eficacia de las políticas de seguridad. En ese
sentido, las encuestas de victimización proveerán los datos para
realizar estas investigaciones.
Los resultados de las investigaciones junto con el estudio de las experiencias comparadas se utilizarán para elaborar recomendaciones de políticas de seguridad específicas.
