Prof. Matías Irigoyen Testa

A native of Argentina, Professor Matías Irigoyen Testa teaches tort law at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Buenos Aires). Additionally, he is a full-professor of law and teaches civil law and economic analysis of law at the Universidad Nacional del Sur (Bahía Blanca). He obtained the highest academic record (GPA) in his two masters degrees and his Ph. D. (summa cum laude). He has been a Visiting Doctoral Researcher and a Visiting Postdoctoral Scholar at Harvard University. He received his Ph. D. from the Department of Applied Economics IV at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He holds a masters degree in Financial Analysis from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and another one in Law, Economics and Public Policy from the Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset de Madrid. He received his law degree from the Universidad de la Plata in Argentina. Among others, he received international scholarships from the Fundación Rafael del Pino (Spain), Real Colegio Complutense at Harvard University (EE.UU.) and CEPSA (Spain).
