Listening Summit on Corruption

Pepperdine University in Buenos Aires
The Listening Summit, which is organized by Pepperdine University´s Buenos Aires site, is an exceptional academic activity for 25 Pepperdine University and 25 Universidad Torcuato Di Tella students. Its objective is to foster exchange of ideas between US and Argentine students on the topic of corruption.

The program, which has no cost and will be held fully in English, consists of several compulsory activities: (Do not apply if you won´t be able to attend all of them.)
  • Monday, October 26th (Lectures and discussions from 6 to 9 pm at the Pepperdine University site in Belgrano)
  • Thursday, October 29th (Barbeque lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the Pepperdine University site in Belgrano)
  • Thursday, November 5th (Barbeque lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the Pepperdine University site in Belgrano)
  • Friday, November 6th (Lectures and discussions from 12:30 to 8:30 pm at the Pepperdine University site in Belgrano)
  • Saturday and Sunday, November 7th & 8th (Lectures and discussions. 7:45 am departure from Belgrano to an estancia in Lobos where the group will stay overnight and until approx. 6 pm on Sunday)
Requirements:
- Applicants must be 1st, 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate students at UTDT.
Advanced level of English (both written and oral).

Application:
1. Complete the on-line registration
2. Write a motivation letter indicating: 
         a. Why you want to participate in this activity;
         b. Why you should be selected to be part of this year´s Listening Summit; and,
         c: Why you think it is important to discuss with US students matters about corruption. 
The letter length must not exceed 2 pages.

3. Send the letter via email to exchange@utdt.edu before 6 pm on Friday, October 16th, 2015. Applications received after this time will not be considered.
