Carlos Melconian, BA in Economics from University of Buenos Aires and  Master in Economics from Torcuato Di Tella University, is the director of M & S Consultores. He advises major national and foreign companies and institutions about the national and regional economic situation, the key fiscal and monetary variables, and the development of medium-term scenarios used in their investment decisions.

At this conference, Andres de la Cruz, one of the leading legal advisors of the Greek government in the recent debt restructuring will analyze its objectives and goals achieved  and its limitations.      

Andrés de la Cruz is a partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP resident in the New York office and the Buenos Aires office.
In the past, he advised companies and governments of America and Europe in numerous debt restructurings, securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. 

Andrés de la Cruz received a Law degree from the University of Buenos Aires, an LL.M. degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1987 and a Diploma from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies  (SAIS).

YPF: ECONOMÍA Y POLÍTICA DE LA ESTATIZACIÓN

(YPF: Economics and Politics of the Nationalization)

Speakers: Nicolás Gadano, Alieto Guadagni, Alejandro Bonvecchi and Sebastián Etchemendy.

Nicolás Gadano is an expert economist in the oil industry. He was Chief Economist of YPF and wrote the book "History of Oil in Argentina 1907-1955: From the beginning until the fall of Peron."

Alieto Guadagni is Ph.D in Economics from University of California at Berkeley and is currently Professor at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
He was Secretary of Energy, Foreign International Economic Relations and of Industry, Commerce and Mining. He is the author of several books on energy matters. 

Alejandro Bonvecchi obtained his Ph.D. in Government from University of Essex and is
currently Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. 

Sebastian Etchemendy obtained his Ph.D. in Political Science from University of California and is now a full-time Professor and Director of the Master in Political Science
at  Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
