The educational mission of the Latin American International Tax Program (LAITP) is to provide leading tax officials and tax practitioners with the finest intensive education on international taxation available in the Spanish-speaking world The Program is based on case studies from investments from the United States, Europe and Asia to Latin America (and vice versa). Emphasis is given to the interaction of the Latin American tax treaty network with other tax treaty networks (such as those of Asia, Europe, and the US). The Program also focuses on landmark tax litigation crucial to tax professionals doing businesses in Latin America. |
